Blog 9: Music

Hello everybody! How are you? I hope you are all ok c:
I'm a little stressed out because of the rain that always causes VTR problems in Talagante 🙄

But whatever! Let's jump into today's topic!

We have to talk about our favorite band/singer! 🎵🎶

So the only band I have been fan in my life (because I listen to all kind of music, so I don't stay too much with just one artist) is Linkin Park.

Yeah, I know, people don't expect that because I'm too shy and "pinkish", but I really love their songs, and my heart shattered in pieces when I heard the news that the singer Chester Bennington took his life.

Their lyrics were a way of escaping from his demons and depressing thoughts, and they made me company when I was a teenager.

I really love their music, because they didn't play one kind of music the entire time, they used to experiment a lot, and shift from one genre to another between albums.

My favorite album of all times is A Thousand Suns.

The whole thing is an artwork to me, because is like a big song, instead of a compulation of songs, it's very narrative in my opinion, like telling a story of a nuclear apocalyptical scenario and the consecuences.

The genre of this album is veey volatile, it is a mix of electronic rock, alternative rock and experimental rock, also rap, and emotional songs with only acoustic guitar. And that's awesome, because Chester could show the big range of voice he had, he could sing like an angel and scream like a demon 🖤

Here's a link where you can listen to it if you are interested:

I really love every song of this album, but The Messenger always makes me tear up a little bit 😢💕
