Blog 8: A subject I enjoyed studying this semester




Hello everybody! So in this entry, we are going to talk about a subject I enjoyed studying this semester.

This year has been a very weird one, but thanks to that I could have the chance to apply to some courses I had pending, like the CFG's!

So the one I took this year was Russian I.

And honestly, I didn't want to take Russian, I applied to a lot of language courses, I was aiming for Italian or Portuguese, that have some similarities with Spanish, my native language, but nooo!

Because of fate I ended enrolled in the "Russian I" course.

At first, I was very scared! In my mind that sounded like an impossible language to learn easily! Especially for the pronunciation and the fact that doesn't use the abecedary!

It has a whole new alphabet, that comes from Cyrillic:

I was so terrified by this, but it turned out to be a very entertaining course! The teacher is very nice and shared with us a PDF book to learn Russian and an exercise book to practice.

I'm enjoying so much to learn it because it was like decoding a secret password with strange symbols, but now that I can read it easily, comes the difficulty.

Right now we are learning verbs, and the conjugations are a pain! But I have faith I will learn it soon! Just as English, and I hope Japanese too one day n.n

    whaaat they don't have a C? i really love the languages too i wanna take portuguese the next year and hebrew in some institution if the university doesn't have it!!

    I tried taking Russian in high school, but it was too difficult for me :(

Hello everybody! How are you? I hope you are all ok c: I'm a little stressed out because of the rain that always causes VTR problems in Talagante 🙄 But whatever! Let's jump into today's topic! Blog 6: First thing I'll do when quarantine is over

Hello everyone! Here I am trying to reach all of you in this blog's updates!! So this entry is about what we want to do when we can go outside again. Honestly, I don't know, but I haven't go to Santiago for quite a long time... since maybe September of 2019? Because our faculty was on strike at the time, then the October18th happened, I was afraid to go alone, and the buses I use to go there, went on a strike too, and after that...! Coronavirus happened! So I think I would like to go to the Engraving Workshop of my faculty. See how the classroom it's been, go to see the damages that probably the intense rain has caused, and walk around the grass, and my old workbench corner it is, and I could go grab my works and drawings in my locker.
