Blog 3: My favorite piece of technology

So the task today is to write about some technology object of our like, and I think I thought of it pretty fast because I love it so much!

It's my Digital Drawing Tablet!

I used to have another tablet for drawing that I bought at a very low-cost years ago, but its digital pen broke because I dropped it and it fell on its tip u-u

Luckily before it broke, I drew with it a familiar portrait for a friend of my dad. He made a frame for it, and I printed it in a printing house of my town, and then we gave it to her for Christmas of 2018.

She was supposed to pay us, but instead, we did a trade, so in January she gave me this super Wacom Bamboo Drawing Tablet, because she had it, but nobody used it in her house.

I knew it was a very special piece, and with some friends help, I get to know they are discontinued, but that were the favorite ones to some professional digital artists, and they are highly valued on the internet.
I used now almost every day to draw, sometimes to do some very detailed art pieces, and sometimes just some little practice sketches. It is super useful, and even if at first, I had a hard time using it because it was different and with fewer buttons, but more features, now I handle it with mastery!

Right now, it makes my life kind of easier, because I don't have to waste money on paper or watercolors to draw, and for selling my artwork, it's easier to do it if it's already digitally.  Otherwise I would have to take photos or scan my drawings to be able to sell them.

But apart from that it's not that necessary, you can even draw with a stick in the sand haha! Isn't it interesting how we go from painting in caves to digital drawing?
